Andrew Lima is a Canadian filmmaker currently based in Montréal, QC. With over 20 years of experience in the creation and direction of short fiction and experimental documentary films, he has developed a distinctive approach to the moving image. A graduate of Concordia University’s Studio Arts MFA program, Lima’s current work explores innovative, D.I.Y. methods of re-photography, optical printing, and film manipulation, while developing hybrid documentary practices.
